Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) is putting defence and security in the spotlight of its 2024 event, taking place 13-15 November.

The last two years has seen Bahrain reinforce relationships with global partners. In September 2023, Bahrain signed the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement with the US in September last year, which will see enhanced cooperation across a wide range of areas, from defence and security to emerging technology, trade, and investment.

Organised by the Bahrain Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications and the RBAF in association with Farnborough International, BIAS has been designed to reflect aerospace and defence industry demands, in addition to Bahrain’s exponential development, and will harness global expertise to provide crucial thought leadership and insight.

Marking the country’s drive to establish its position from a regional pioneer to a global contender as part of its 2030 economic vision, the airshow will be highlighting the increased demand for collaboration and innovation across the global defence and security sectors, as part of the conference programme, as well as the exhibition and flying display.

Offering one of the most internationally renowned aircraft displays on the airshow circuit, BIAS will also host an impressive static showcase and daily flying displays featuring the latest in both military jets and commercial aircraft. In previous years, the flying display has been filled with the world’s most renowned military aircraft and display teams, with showcases of RBAF Copra Zolo from Bell, Pakistani Air force JF-17, RSAF Typhoon, USAF F-16 demo team, Red Arrows, UAE Al Fursan, Mirage 2000 &F16, Saudi Hawks, and Boeing P-8 Poseidon flypast.

Held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and under the supervision of His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of His Majesty the King and the Chairman of BIAS’ Supreme Organising Committee, BIAS will be welcoming leaders across the aerospace and defence industries across 40 luxury chalets, 10,000sqm exhibition hall and 86,000sqm static aircraft display, including exhibitors such as Lockheed Martin, Rolls-Royce, Thales, Gulf Air, BAE System, Leonardo, DHL, Indra Spain, Otokar, Defence Technology Equipment and UAE Tawazan.

To bolster its reach across the global sector and further its relationships with businesses within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the BIAS organising committee is attending World Defence Show. Visit the team in Suite 55.
