Raffles Dubai brings guests on a culinary adventure through East and West without leaving their tables. Offering a unique experience, the dazzling afternoon experience is delivered to the guest’s table as a suitcase. The suitcase has a personalised branded bag tag with the guest’s name and can only be unlocked through a unique password sent to them upon booking.
Inside are various ‘Instagrammable’ moments, a walk-through of Raffles’ heritage, and delectable treats waiting to be eaten. Moreover, no guests will leave without a treat as guests can take home the personalised bag tag and bring it on their next visit in exchange for a complimentary tea or coffee.
Available daily from 2 PM to 6 PM at Raffles Salon, adult guests can avail of the experience starting from AED 185 per person, including unlimited tea and coffee. Those in the mood for tipples can get a glass of grape starting at AED 45 or a glass of bubbly starting at AED 125.
Individuals looking for a relaxing day out can opt for the afternoon tea experience with a 60-minute massage at Raffle Spa, which costs AED 550 per person.
Meanwhile, the little ones can join in the fun for AED 85, which includes savoury snacks, delectable desserts, and a choice of rich hot chocolate or refreshing fresh juices.
Representing Eastern and Western cultures with local influences, each sumptuous dessert and savoury pastry creation is meticulously designed and freshly made in true Raffles style, using artisan techniques. Guests can sample six savoury dishes, such as Camembert La Roche with Fresh Figs and Togarashi Spiced Poached Shrimp, and seven sweet snacks, such as Exoticano, Pistachio Mafroukeh, and many more.
Inspired by the Traveller’s Palm, Raffles’ iconic brand symbol, handcrafted in a single stroke by British pen master David Horiddge in 1925, the Traveller’s Palm represents a palm where leaves grow out in an East-West direction, turning towards or away from the sun. It serves as a compass for travellers, pointing them back on track. Today, guests arriving at Raffles hotels are welcomed by individuals wearing the Traveller’s Palm pin to signify the hotel will always be a place of comfort and respite.
