Valor Hospitality doubles UK portfolio in five years as 2026 brings new hotels

Four new hotels brings growing portfolio to 40 properties with over 7,000 bedrooms

Valor Hospitality Partners has more than doubled its UK portfolio in five years – increasing from 17 hotels in 2021 to 40 hotels in 2026 – marking a significant milestone in the full-service hospitality company’s continued expansion across the UK market.

The sustained growth reflects Valor’s long-term commitment to the UK. The US headquartered global company, launched in Europe in 2014 with the management of 11 IHG-branded hotels, immediately establishing a reputation as a trusted partner for hotel owners and investors.

With momentum continuing into 2026, Valor’s UK presence reflects 7,000 bedrooms and includes the recent addition of four new hotels, which transitioned to Valor this month.

The new hotels include the Crowne Plaza Aberdeen Airport, Holiday Inn Express Aberdeen Airport, Holiday Inn Express Trafford City and Hampton by Hilton Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

Bringing an additional 700 bedrooms, 17 meeting rooms and a range of food and beverage services, the new hotels join a diverse collection of well-known brands and independent hotels managed by Valor in the UK.

The new hotels also add to Valor’s growing global portfolio, which has expanded to a network of 100+ properties across 65 cities and 22 countries across the world, since being founded in Atlanta, Georgia, by Euan McGlashan and Steve Cesinger in 2012.

As the business has scaled in the UK, it has continued to invest in creating a positive culture for its team members. This has earned Valor a position in The Times ‘Best Places to Work’ list for two consecutive years, being named the best employer in the hospitality spotlight category in 2025.

Brian McCarthy, Valor Hospitality’s UK President, commented: “We have come a long way since 2014. Our success has been a function of hard work, a strong focus on the delivery of excellence and a commitment to creating a great working environment. While these have been key, the real cornerstone has been the delivery of exceptional commercial results for our owners.

“I would like to say thank you to the owners who have trusted us to deliver on their behalf and who have afforded us the opportunities to develop our business. While the environment might be unpredictable, I am confident that our best days lie ahead of us. Here’s to the next key milestone”.

Euan McGlashan, Global Co-Founder and CEO of Valor Hospitality Partners, commented:“We are proud to be steadily expanding our footprint and strengthening our presence across multiple brands and markets, driven by our commitment to operational excellence, guest-centric innovation and a people-first culture. As we welcome the four new hotels into the Valor portfolio, we believe it reinforces our position as one of the most forward-thinking and fastest-growing hospitality management companies in the world. A world of constant change, which excites us and which we embrace, yet one where we remain firmly grounded by our DNA of an incredible culture, wrapped in commerciality, while building a loyal following of guests.”
