Beneath a sky strewn with stars, this new season unfolds as a journey of artistry, movement and elemental wonder – where light, rhythm and imagination converge to create an experience unlike anywhere else.
Each evening tells its story through a curated sequence of live performances, blending modern creativity with the mystique of the Arabian desert. The programme draws inspiration from the four natural elements, with fire as its defining symbol – a reflection of Sonara’s warmth, energy and connection to nature. Developed entirely in-house by Nara’s creative team, the line-up features a diverse ensemble of Arab and international artists, each bringing their own interpretation of strength, grace and emotion.
Guests are transported through a series of spellbinding moments – a Modern Belly Dance that reimagines heritage with subtle fire motifs, a whirling Tanoura Fire Dance inspired by Sufi spirituality, and soaring Aerial Acts where acrobatics and artistry collide against the starlit sky. The tempo rises with the Water Drums, performed by a trio of “Desert Warriors” whose light and rhythm ripple through the dunes, and a Modern Arabic Dance fusing LED visuals with expressive choreography. The evening reaches its crescendo with Sonara’s signature Fire Show and Fire Ring finale, as torches descend the dunes in a luminous spectacle of unity and energy.
Every detail – from the sunset arrival to the cinematic descent from the lounge to dinner – is choreographed to heighten emotion. Guests are immersed in a dreamlike atmosphere of music, fire and fragrance, where every turn reveals a new sensory layer. Performances are purposefully minimalist and respectful of the environment, allowing the desert itself to remain the true stage – timeless, vast and alive.

Guided by Sonara’s philosophy of elevated simplicity, the menu blends contemporary Middle Eastern flavours with global influences, celebrating open-fire cooking, smoke-infused aromas, and courses that flow in harmony with each act. Guests share vibrant starters, spiced meats, grilled seafood, and bread baked fresh in a traditional wooden oven. Sustainability remains at the heart of the experience, from locally sourced produce and zero-waste operations to house-made infusions crafted with regional herbs.
