IKIGAI, Dubai Marina’s hip Asian eatery and sake bar, pays homage to its Japanese heritage with The Omakase Experience, launching on July 5th. Guests can enjoy an interactive evening, learning the secrets to Japanese cuisine, pairings of signature spirits along with tips and techniques on how to master preparation.
Omakase – which means “I’ll leave it up to you” in Japanese – is a popular phrase among Japan’s sushi diners. True to an Omakase experience, guests are in for a surprise as host and head chef Ted presents a menu comprising dishes included in his live cooking demonstration along with infusions of elements to pair perfectly with the premium Japanese whiskey.
The Omakase Experience caters for groups of up to six guests, with front-row seats to the best sushi show in town! For AED 300, diners will enjoy premium Japanese spirits and sake to complement the experience.
