A recent business trip to explore the European Union’s organic food excellence proved to be a transformative experience, particularly for athletes and performance coaches.

The journey, filled with business meetings, seminars, and farm visits, showcased the region’s commitment to premium organic quality and its rigorous control systems.

For athlete and performance coach Loubna El Jawharji, the trip was especially insightful. “The experience opened my eyes to the exceptional quality of organic food in the EU and its crucial role in countries like Poland,” Loubna shared in an interview with M. Matt, managing editor of Travel Business Asia & Middle East (t4travel.me).

“Understanding these controlled systems provides valuable insights into how nutrition can profoundly impact athletic performance and overall health,” she added.

The visit featured high-level discussions with key stakeholders on sustainable farming practices, emphasizing the EU’s role in setting global standards. Seminars led by industry experts delved into regulatory frameworks, highlighting transparency and integrity in food production.

A highlight of the trip was visiting organic farms, where participants witnessed cutting-edge agricultural techniques that ensure chemical-free, health-promoting produce. This hands-on experience underscored the EU’s dedication to environmental stewardship and quality assurance.

For athletes and coaches, the knowledge gained on organic food quality offers practical applications for optimizing performance and promoting healthier, longer lives through proper nutrition.

The insights from this trip will help enhance nutritional strategies, ensuring that individuals have access to the best organic food choices. This enlightening experience not only deepened understanding but also inspired a commitment to incorporating organic nutritional insights into training regimens worldwide.

The delegation to Poland included food distributors, importers, influencers, and journalists from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The visit was organized by the National Association of Processors and Producers of Organic Products, “Polska Ekologia,” as part of the promotional and informational campaign “EU Organic Food – Good Choice,” co-financed by the European Union and targeted at the UAE market.
