For non-resident Keralites living across the Middle East, the USA, Europe, or Australia who long to reconnect with their roots, Thomaskutty’s Farmhouse Homestay offers the perfect sanctuary—a true home away from home where childhood memories come alive.

A Timeless Kerala Experience in the Heart of Nature
Nestled in the tranquil village of Keekozhoor, Ranni, in Kerala’s Pathanamthitta district, this lovingly restored Kerala Tharavadu (ancestral home) invites you to step into a timeless Kerala experience. Far from city chaos, the farmhouse is embraced by the gentle rustling of coconut palms, the sweet melodies of birds, and the rich aromas of spice and Ayurvedic herb gardens that define the region’s natural charm.
Heritage Comfort Meets Organic Living
Built with traditional red oxide floors and antique furnishings, this heritage homestay blends rustic warmth with modern comforts like air-conditioning, creating a cozy refuge in the heart of nature. Spread across a sprawling organic farm, the estate is a nature lover’s paradise where spices like ginger, turmeric, pepper, and cinnamon flourish alongside tropical fruits and medicinal plants — all cultivated sustainably to honor Kerala’s ancient farming traditions.

The location itself is a gateway to Kerala’s finest natural and cultural attractions. Just a kilometer away, the sacred River Pampa offers refreshing swims, fishing, and summer beach games.
Nearby Perumthenaruvi Waterfalls, only 4 km from the farmhouse, provide a breathtaking backdrop for picnics and photos. For forest lovers, the lush Ranni Forest and Gavi offer tranquil trekking and rare glimpses of Kerala’s rich biodiversity.

Spiritual travelers can explore Aranmula’s famed snake boat races, the revered Sabarimala Temple tucked in the Western Ghats, or the historic St. Peter and St. Paul’s Church in Parumala. The Maramon Convention site, home to the world’s largest Christian gathering, is also just minutes away.

Savor the Flavors of Kerala
At Thomaskutty’s, the journey is as much about flavor as it is about sight and sound. Guests savor authentic Kerala dishes made with farm-fresh organic produce. From spicy fish curry to tender jackfruit stir-fry, every meal bursts with vibrant local flavors. Those eager to dive deeper can try cooking on a traditional wood-fired Choolah stove, rediscovering the soulful joy of slow-cooked meals.
A Retreat for Every Traveler
This farmhouse is a place for every traveler. Families find joy watching children feed goats, chase butterflies, and pick fresh fruit. Couples treasure quiet garden strolls and candlelit dinners overlooking lush fields. Solo travelers soak in nature’s calm, exploring forest trails, meditating by the river, or simply unwinding with a book on the breezy veranda.
