DRIFT Dubai continues its commitment to blending art and cuisine with a new collaboration featuring celebrated French artist Adrien Marcos. Showcased until the end of March, guests can experience an exclusive exhibition of Marcos’ visionary work within the elegant setting of DRIFT Restaurant, complemented by a special dessert on the menu – a chocolate replica inspired by his signature artistic shapes.
Adrien Marcos is renowned for his therapeutic sculptures, through the diffusion of words and messages coded in luminous binary language. Their shape and design vary according to his inspiration but his artistic approach remains the same: spreading messages of light that influence both mind and body, with themes of love, peace, and compassion. Marcos has crafted high-end custom orders for the likes of Louis Vuitton, showcasing his unique artistic approach in the fashion space.
In addition to the exhibition, DRIFT’s culinary team, led by Chef Sylvain Noel, has crafted a limited-edition chocolate creation inspired by Marcos’ HARMONIE collection – specifically the piece titled Jumeirah, which reflects his first visit to Dubai. Featuring a plant-like design reminiscent of the trunk and foliage of a palm tree, the dessert pays tribute to Palm Jumeirah, blending art and cuisine into a multisensory experience. This exclusive chocolate bar is available for purchase in the restaurant for 85 AED.
The exhibition will be on display until the end of March, offering guests an intimate opportunity to engage with his work while they dine. As the second art installation at DRIFT, it marks another step in the venue’s ongoing commitment to showcasing creative talent, with many more exciting collaborations to come.
