Dubai, UAE: The renowned Malayalam short story writer and novelist, Jose Panachippuram, has been selected as the recipient of the Matt Media International Lifetime Achievement Award 2024.

This prestigious award recognizes his outstanding contributions to the Malayalam language and literature, which have inspired generations.

Born in Vazhoor, Kottayam District, Kerala, India, Jose Panachippuram is a distinguished short story writer, novelist, and journalist. He serves as the Editorial Director of Malayala Manorama and Editor-in-Chief of Bhashaposhini, a leading literary magazine.

Among his many accolades, he received the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award in 2005 for his novel Kannadiyile Mazha. His column Tharangangalil holds the record for being the longest-running column in Malayalam, having been published for over 45 years.
